Gaining Favour

If you want to gain favour and be treated well, remember peoples names and then use it when you connect with them. Hopeless at remembering names? I use the notes app in my phone to record peoples names after I've met them. Then, prior to staying at a hotel, visiting a cafe etc, I review the list, recall their name and end up with a free glass of wine. Whether customers, suppliers, restaurant owners, hotel managers, retail staff and the like, if you make the effort to remember someone, take an interest in them and engage with them, favour will definitely come your way.
